Each of the four bird species will be introduced to you by our experienced falconer.  They will help you to understand the species and also the character of the individual bird.  At a variety of locations within the National Botanic Garden of Wales you will experience the excitement of each bird flying free and being called to your arm.  

Learn the differences between owls, falcons and hawks, witness the relationship with the falconer and relax in the stunning landscape.  This experience also offers you the chance to see the rest of our birds in their aviaries, watch one of our flying displays and spend any time you have left in the National Botanic Garden of Wales*.

We recommend comfortable footwear, to dress for the Welsh weather and don't forget your camera to make the most of this unforgettable experience.
