A Full Day of Feathers, Fun & Adventure

We’re a small, friendly centre where everything is easy to find, with clear and interesting signage around the site to help you learn as you explore. You’ll meet 20 British birds including eagles, owls, kites and falcons, all living in spacious aviaries where you can see them up close and find out what makes each one unique.

Each aviary has signs telling you the bird’s name, age, and some fun facts about the species, so you can learn as you make your way around the site. But the best way to really get to know them is to talk to us. Every bird here has its own personality, and there’s always a story behind them that you might not catch during the shows. If you see one of the team, feel free to ask, we’re always happy to chat and tell you more about the birds that make up our feathered family.

The highlight of any visit is our flying displays, where the birds fly completely free in our indoor and outdoor arenas. Every show is completely different and all are included in your ticket. This is where you’ll see natural behaviours, different personalities, and the true ability of these incredible birds, so we always recommend planning your day around the show times to make the most of your visit.

Between shows, you can explore the aviaries, visit the Indoor Interactive Activity Centre, let the kids enjoy the outdoor play area, and stop by the café for drinks, snacks, and light meals.
